General Information
We are currently accepting applications for callers at MSU Greenline. If you are currently an enrolled and registered student at Michigan State University, you are eligible.
As a caller at Greenline you will be responsible for contacting MSU alumni across the country. Your first task revolves around customer service, building relationships with the many alumni you speak with. Your second task involves soliciting funds from the alumni for the benefit of many different programs across Michigan State University.

Great Pay - $8.25/hr
All callers are eligible for a pay raise every semester based on performance and attendance. Also, callers are able to earn extra hours of pay nightly.
On top of that, supervisors regularly distribute incentives to callers who show outstanding performance, commitment and enthusiasm to the program. These incentives include gift cards to local restaurants and attractions.

Fun Environment
At MSU Greenline, we do not have a dress code. As long as its appropriate and not offensive to others you can wear whatever you'd like.
MSU Greenline is a student run program so ultimately you will be working with your peers.
We play nightly games to establish team bonding and to make the work atmosphere 100% enjoyable.
The staff at MSU Greenline is unique and diverse, which helps us cater to your personal needs.
Every semester we host theme shifts. A theme shift is when we pick a theme, decorate the calling room, dress up and get paid to play games and eat free food!
Yearly, local businesses donate gift certificates to MSU Greenline. Then you have the opportunity to "purchase" incentives that you want. Essentially, for every pledge, credit card, matching gift, food bank, etc. you get, every off night you come in, and every positive feedback you receive, you will earn a credit. Flexibility
Are you scheduled to work tonight but need more time to finish up a paper that is due tomorrow morning? At MSU Greenline, it's not a problem. All new callers are authorized the following absences to help balance the expected and unexpected things that come up in our lives:
- Excused (1): Just call into work and say you can't come in... that's it!
- Review Session (2): Have your professor sign off that you attended his/her review session on your scheduled night to work and you're in the clear
- Make-up (2): If you're busy tonight but you're free tomorrow, just call in and let us know you're going to skip your shift tonight and make it up tomorrow
- Subs (unlimited): If you need the night off and you found someone to sub for you, then you're good to go
Plus, the longer you work at MSU Greenline, the more of each excuse you'll have.
Opportunity for Advancement
There is always opportunities for advancement at MSU Greenline. All students on our supervisory and managerial staff were once callers due to the fact that we promote from within.
The skills you gain as a supervisor or a manager will be invaluable. As a supervisor you will learn how to effectively manage your own team of callers. As a manager you will be assigned to a specific department such as training, recruiting, or promotion and be responsible for carrying out the responsibilities assigned to that department. Remember, we do not hire directly into this positions. We only promote from within.
